This is an interesting subject in the electric bike world. The best answer is "it depends" because it depends on many different things.

- Weight of the bike

- Weight of the rider

- Average speed you're going

- Number of hills

- Terrain (sand, dirt, mud, pavement)

- Number of times you stop and start

All of that said, we use a standard calculation to advertise our range, just like every other manufacturer has to. But, we tried to be as realistic as possible as we know people get let down pretty quick when they think their bike goes 100 miles and then only it only gets an average of 50 miles for their riding conditions. All Lyric Cycles are shipped as Class 2 eBikes (9500W limited in Canada) with a top speed of 20 MPH / 3 KM/H.

If you choose to "unlock" our bikes to take advantage of the top speeds you can expect:

- Lyric Heartbreaker 750 W & 28 MPH

- Lyric Graffiti 250 W & 40 MPH

Your Lyric Cycle will show up 90% built.

The difficulty/simplicity of the remaining assembly is subjective. But if you've successfully assembled IKEA furniture (without any leftover parts), you should be fine!

If the thought of furniture assembly triggers you, then we suggest scheduling a mobile technician through Velofix or Velotooler.

USA Orders
In Stock Bikes:
Orders received on Monday to Thursday before 7:00 p.m. are shipped the next day. Orders received on Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 7:00 p.m. are shipped on Monday.

Orders ship every Tuesday and Thursday 3:00 pm

Once shipped, in-transit times depend on the shipping address. Typically you can expect to receive your order in 2-7 business days.

Note: If a customer requests a refund, please contact the operations department to ensure the product hasn’t been fulfilled.

We take great care in packaging your bike so it arrives safely in tact. Heavy duty ebike specific packaging boxes are used, so all painted surfaces and LCD screens are protected from damage.

We ship within Canada and the United States (lower 48 states only at this time)

eBIKE REFUNDS:

As bikes are all in pre-order stage, our return policy has two stages.

If after placing your order, you change your mind, you have 15 days for a full refund. After 15 days, your bike order is officially a part of our current production order, and no refunds can be issued until you receive the bike.

If after receiving the bike, you decide you’d like to return it, you have 15 days from the date it was received to do so. Your eBike must be in the same condition you received it in, and it must be in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

You will be responsible for return shipping costs, and/or related fees (brokerage, tariffs, etc.), which will be deducted from the refund amount.

The following items will be deducted from the amount refunded: original shipping fees, any additional shipping costs, plus a 10% restocking fee.

Please contact us to initiate the refund process prior to shipping anything back.

eBIKE EXHCANGES

Exchanges can be completed prior to product being shipped.

If after receiving the bike, you decide you’d like to exchange it, you have 15 days from the date it was received to do so. Your eBike must be in the same condition you received it in, and it must be in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

You will be responsible for shipping costs (return and re-shipping), and/or related fees (brokerage, tariffs, etc.).

For all parts and accessories to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for any shipping and duty fees for any returns or exchanges.

Lyric Cycles are legal in all states across the United States and ship as a Class 2 Ebike. Class 2 Ebikes are defined as low-speed throttle-assisted electric bicycles, equipped with motors that can exclusively propel the bicycle, but that cannot provide assistance when the bike reaches 20 mph.

These eBikes are legal on any paved surface that a regular bike is allowed to operate.

If you have access to private land you can unlock your Lyric Cycle to access the top speed potential through the control unit on your handlebars. Please check the user manual for this procedure.

Similar to the United States (see question answered above), Lyric Cycles are legal within Canada with speed and engine wattage limited to legal speed/power.

You obviously love speed as much as we do!

Lyric Cycles are shipped to Canada and the USA at the top allowable legal engine power, and and top allowable legal speed. This is a legal requirement for us to stay in business, and to keep our insurance company happy.

What you choose to do once the bike is in your possession is up to you. Get to know the electric bike laws in your area, and make your decisions accordingly. But know we have done our part to keep your bike legal. 

As a side note, any changes to motor, controller, battery, BMS, wiring, etc. will void the Lyric Cycle warranty.
